Your floor area is not the same as the amount to purchase. Layout, cuts and manufacturer guidance affect the allowance. Enter the actual package coverage for the product you intend to buy.
How does this calculator work?
<p>Floor area = length × width. Planned material area = floor area × (1 + allowance / 100). Boxes = planned area ÷ box coverage, rounded up.</p>
What if my room is not rectangular?
<p>Measure separate surfaces or divide the floor plan into non-overlapping rectangles. Use the combined area for your final material estimate.</p>
